Salisbury Schools' Book Award 2011

The 4th annual Salisbury Schools' Book Award presentation will take place at South Wilts Grammar School on Wednesday 9th March from 10.30 – 11.30. Students from South Wilts Grammar School, Bishop Wordsworth's School, Avon Valley College, St Joseph's School, Trafalgar School, St Edmund's School and Godolphin School have taken part this year in reading the 6 books nominated for the award. The nominated books are:

Furnace Lockdown                              Alexander Gordon-Smith
At the Sign of the Sugared                  Plum Mary Hooper
The Carbon Diaries 2015                    Saci Lloyd
The Boy in the Dress                          David Walliams
The Crowfield Curse                           Pat Walsh

Saci Lloyd the author of The Carbon Diaries 2015 will be giving a talk and announcing the winner at the award presentation. She will also be working with The English Department and Year 8 students at South Wilts Grammar School during the afternoon.
