Exams Invigilator - £10.09 per hour (including 11.9% holiday pay)

Ad Hoc position (zero hours) but must be available during all key exam and admissions periods.

We are looking for Invigilators to join our team, to ensure the smooth running of public exams at the school.

Hours are booked with invigilators by the Exams Officer on an ad hoc basis as and when required. During peak times an invigilator may be asked to work up to 4 hours in a morning (between 8:30am and 12:30pm) and up to 4 hours in an afternoon (between 12:30pm and 4:30pm).

Invigilators are asked to notify the Exams Officer of any regular weekly commitments well in advance (or any known one-off absences) in order to assist them with the task of making bookings.

Applicants must be available to attend a training meeting on Wednesday 24th April, from 9am until midday. Invigilators are expected to have high availability for all peak periods (May and early June for public exams, Saturdays 21st & 28th September for 11+ entrance exams, and a week in each December and January for Mock exams).

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher, ideally with experience in the pastoral field.

This position has arisen due to restructuring of our pastoral teams. A Head of Year plays a key role within the pastoral structure of the school and is essential in maintaining the purposeful environment in which students excel, supporting both their academic and social environment and personal well-being.

Although our preferred specialist subjects would be Maths, MFL, Philosophy (RE), Geography, Classics / Latin, Computing / Economics and History, we would be keen to receive applications for these important roles from any outstanding teachers.
