Delegates from China paid a visit to Wiltshire

Delegates from China paid a visit to Wiltshire recently in order to explore possible links between Wiltshire schools and schools in China. Two of our string quartets, the Woric and Hart Quartets were invited by Valerie Hayward, Head of the Wiltshire Music Service to play to the delegates of both countries at Urchfont Manor. We are very grateful to Mrs Parsons, our 'cello teacher, who kindly prepared the girls for this occasion and arranged for them to take part. The girls played exquisitely and were very warmly received. They were excellent ambassadors and very much enjoyed their evening.
