South Wilts Grammar School celebrates another year

Another outstanding set of results for the 126 Year 11 students were greeted with delight and excitement as so many students exceeded their expectations. 100% of the year group gained 5 A*-C grades at GCSE and 76% of the examinations taken were awarded A and A* grades. This really does demonstrate the hard work and commitment of the students and is an increase on last years' results.

Three students Charlotte Little, Jocasta Patel and Natalie Starr gained A*s in all 13 subjects and another three students, Pip Bywater, Sarah Giles and Rosanna Howlett gained A*s in all 12 subjects.  A total of 46 Students achieved all A+A* grades and 39 students achieved more than 11 subjects at A and A* grade.

Headteacher Frances Stratton said, ' This is another amazing set of results for the school and students, teachers and parents have every reason to feel proud. The numbers of students achieving the very highest grades has improved again to the schools highest ever number. The students can now go on to the next phase of their education with the confidence that they are among with the very best'.
