Well done to our SWGS cross country teams who finished a fantastic 6th and 7th at the national finals of the ESAA Schools Cross Country Cup!
Hard work paid off for SWGS and coach Mr Butt as the Inter girls achieved 7th and the Senior girls come 6th out of 26 schools racing at the Cross Country Cup national finals at the weekend. Not only did the teams overcome extremely tough competition in the county and regional rounds, but they excelled in the final dramatic showdown in the early spring sunshine in Leeds.
Huge congratulations to these students on an epic performance. A big shout out to Mr Butt, our legendary coach, on his 9th national final with SWGS.
