Admissions Policy

The offer of a place at South Wilts Grammar School depends on the availability of places at the school. To be eligible for admission to the school, candidates must:

  • Achieve the cut off score in the selection test for entry into Years 7 to 11.
  • Achieve the minimum general entry and subject requirements for entry into Sixth Form

Where the number of applications for admission exceeds the number of places available at the school, places are offered to children based on the oversubscription criteria detailed below.

Admissions Consultation

Consultation on our admissions policy typically takes place from mid-Autumn to January.
