Applicants to SWGS are required to pass a selection test for entry into years 7-11 or meet general and subject specific entry requirements for entry into Sixth Form.

Should your child not be offered a place at SWGS, you are welcome to contact us in the first instance to discuss your and your child’s situation. Following this, should you still feel dissatisfied, you have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel.

Appeals are heard during the daytime on weekdays during term time only and you will be advised of the date for your appeal at least 14 days in advance of the appeal.
