Congratulations to our SWGS team who won the North Hampshire Heat of the Magistrates Mock Trial Competition at Winchester Crown Court on Saturday.
They won their prosecution and defence case in impressive style, reflecting the hard work and effort they put into the preparations for the competition.
The competition provides pupils with insight into the Criminal Justice System, as well as gaining other life skills, including teamwork, building confidence, critical thinking and public speaking. We look forward to welcoming the High Sherriff of Hampshire to SWGS when our team will be presented with their engraved shield.
Our students were fantastic ambassadors for the school and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the event.
