At South Wilts, homework is an essential part of the learning routine and gives opportunities for both consolidation of understanding and extension of skills and knowledge. Your help in ensuring homework is completed is much appreciated and, as a part of this, the proper use of the homework diary is essential. However, we do not intend for students to be overloaded with homework and some students will always spend longer than anticipated on a given task. Please do communicate with us at school if your child is finding any aspect of their homework, or their homework routine, difficult.
