This year 177 students sat their A Level exams, and we are exceptionally pleased with their results. Our students continue to excel, and the results were an improvement from the strong results we saw in 2023. A high proportion of our students were accepted onto their first-choice universities or degree apprenticeships, including 6 students with offers for medicine, 2 for veterinary science and 100% success for those with Oxbridge places. This year’s success is a testament to the students’ positive approach to their studies and sheer hard work.
The SWGS co-educational Sixth Form continues to go from strength-to-strength, combining strong academic excellence alongside a friendly, nurturing environment. As we wish our outgoing cohort all the very best for the future, we look forward to welcoming a new generation of sixth form students in the forthcoming weeks.
Congratulations to Joe who achieved 4A*’s and will study maths at LSE; Sophie who achieved 4A*’s and will study maths at Warwick University; Harry who gained 3A*’s (maths, biology, chemistry) and an A in AS further maths and will study chemistry at Imperial, including a year abroad and a year in industry; Blythe who achieved 3A*’s and an A and will study biology at Durham; and Lauren who earned 3A*’s and an A.
