Alcohol and Drugs
The school has a clear policy on the use of alcohol and other drugs, this can be found on the school website. Link to Alcohol and Drugs policy.
The students have lessons in PSD which deal with the impact and effects of the use of a variety of drugs, both legal and illegal and this subject is also considered in the Year 11 Religious Studies course. Tutors and senior staff will also deliver assemblies and form assemblies which touch on the subject and we often welcome outside experts to deliver talks or plays on the theme both in the main school and in the 6th Form. Pastoral staff are able to signpost and refer students or parents to expert services for support with alcohol or drug related problems.
