Congratulations to Amelie in Year 12 whose code-cracking design was chosen by the Director of GCHQ as this year’s Key Stage 5 winner in the GCHQ Christmas Card Challenge. Amelie received the news of her success via a call from the GCHQ Director.
We celebrated Amelie’s achievement on Monday in the Main Hall with computer science students and our external supporters CyberFirst, STEM Learning and friends from DSTL who do much for our computer science department and its students. DSTL kindly brought in a Robot Dog to present Amelie with her competition prizes – a signed framed copy of her winning design and a signed copy of the GCHQ code book.
