We’re incredibly proud to share that three South Wilts Grammar School students have been elected to the Wiltshire Youth Council for 2026–2028.
This year, pupils across Wiltshire took part in the Wiltshire Council Youth Elections, with 14 schools and colleges involved and 41 Youth Councillors elected to represent young people across the county. These councillors will play a vital role in shaping local decision‑making on issues such as mental health, education, transport, the environment and opportunities for young people.
A huge thank you to our students and community — SWGS cast the highest number of votes in the county (887!). This fantastic engagement shows how strongly our young people value having a voice and helping shape their future.
