Sociology is a Sixth Form-only subject. The department is located centrally within the Sixth Form block and is delivered by three subject teachers. We follow the AQA A-level Sociology specification.

Why Study Sociology?

Sociology also focuses on the following:

  • Social change
  • Social causes and consequences of human behaviour
  • The structure of groups, organisations, and societies and how people interact within this context.
